Each square measures a half inch each. It is an average choker size of 16 inches. The silver tone plating is still bright and in excellent condition. This metal necklace is circa 1950 and made by a high end costume jewelry maker of the time. The first half of the 20th century was the heyday for well made costume jewelry sold from fine department
